  "Located at the edge of the Village of Saint Veran, the Hotel Beauregard was the perfect place to stay. The entire hotel was great. It included a great outdoor pool with a large lounging area, a fabulous restaurant and more. We ate breakfast here each day and it was just great! Owned and "worked"..." by a couple who fell in love with the region (they relocated shortly thereafter from Paris) you get that personal touch of staying in someone's very large home (that's just the feel of it). The village was very charming as were the other local villages. We were here in the summer so the hiking was exceptional. Enjoy! " More >

  "My wife and I stayed here for one night as part of a group on a lengthy walking holiday. The bedrooms are simple but clean; we had a bath but the WC was on the landing which was fine. Dinner was excellent and very good value, with plenty of very well presented and cooked food which would have done..." credit to many a more pretentious establishment. The owner was very friendly, as were the staff. The restaurant and the bar area are really attractive. I would not usually stay somewhere quite as simple as this, but would definitely stay again because of the friendliness, the ambience downstairs, the reasonable price and above all the excellent food.
