The restaurant kitchen was closed when we arrived (around 10:30pm) so we missed out on a meal. But this was made up for by the check in - we literally were given the keys and unpacked in our room within 5 mins! Room: our room was simple, with a double bed, working air con, and a small balcony overlooking the entrance to the beach. The downer was the shower head which was broken and we had to balance it every night or it would come crashing down. The bathroom was in original condition, but always clean.   "I have stayed at Maison du Lagon during the last Christmas holidays. The room was quite basic, but definitely clean, well mantained and comfortable, with fridge, tv and air conditioning. Even if it was surrounded by plants and trees, the room was free of insects. The only trouble was represented by..." the noise of the fridge. The location of the hotel is superb, with a relaxing garden facing the tropical beach, where a good breakfast is served. There is a small swimming pool, too, more appealing for the kids than for the grown-ups. The staff has always been kind and available to serve breakfast even out of the service hours.
