The food was excellent, a 5 course meal each evening with a great salad buffet, the meals were quite innovative without being too extraordinary. The only thing I could criticize is that the sauna was only open from 2pm - 5 pm. But since there's enough other options it didn't really bother us. I also found it great that various excursions were included in the price, we went snowshoeing with a local guide and it was really nice, specially because we were just a small group of 5 people.   "We spent a week at this wonderful pension. The hosts were very helpful and did their best to make us feel at home. We stayed in the "Ortler View" apartment, which was fully-equipped and very nice. Two balconies with mountain views were a definite plus. Off-street parking, ski room, and boot warmers ..."were all bonuses! We will definitely stay at the Almrausch on our next visit to Süd Tirol.
