A farm in France. In the middle of nowhere. The farm is located just outside of Eauze and I highly recommend using a GPS to find it. Once you are in Eauze, look for signs pointing to the farm. Just when you think you are there, keep going further...!! If you are not familiar with the area, definitely make sure you arrive during the daytime. When you arrive, the farm looks nothing like some weather beaten, grimy house. It was very clean and beautiful and looked like a mini chateau. This is a family-run hotel with no English speakers, and unless you feel you can read menus and discuss rates with no French, it would probably not work for you. The building ..."is very old but the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The nearby square is very lively well into the night, but the windows are insulated well enough to block out all noise. Although wi-fi is available throughout the building, it's strongest in the lobby where you can enjoy a beer or pastis while connecting. I loved the special treatment I received from the proprietors. There is no elevator and all the rooms are two flights up, but the proprietors will insist on carrying all bags up to your rooms for you.
