It has 5 chalets, not so close to each other, that provide privacy and a quiet neighbourhoods. The hotel has a main build that has more rooms and looks like a regular hotel. I hosted in E..."stalagem Monte Verde couple times and always in chalets, so I don't know these rooms. 2 of 5 chalets are "top" chalets, it has a bathtub and a "better finish", but the others are really good! Good sized chalets, war, with a fireplace, clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good, with tasteful options and a very good service. The hotel don't serve lunch and dinner. Definetely I like this place and when I think about Monte Verde this hotel just "pop up" my mind. Quite recommended. " More >

  "Beautiful and romantic place"
  "I went with my parents in the winter season and we loved our weekend at this "pousada" which is a charm. Obviously, the cottages are an invitation to a romantic stay. But it was worth it to rest, the pure air, the green, the small stream that runs between the chalets and makes you forget the stress ..."of the big cities. The breakfast is an attraction in itself. It is served in a restaurant with outdoor seating surrounded by flowers and hummingbirds, not to mention the chocolate truffle mousse which is offered to guests to make their stay more sweet.   "Amazing! I've never been to Monte Verde before, but went after hearing that this was the best place for couples to escape from daily routine. From the moment we checked in to the check out, the staff was always very friendly, and polite, and making all our wishes possible. We stayed in one of the to..."p rooms (Morada Paraiso), and as the name says, it was paradise. It had a jacuzzi (ofuro) in the balcony, and the room is really big (there are 3 fireplaces in it - around 120m2), clean, well distributed, and the bathroom, awesome with it's double shower with a view to the forest (but no one could see us, so perfect!).
