Room was bigger than a central Tokyo mid range hotel. Bed was firm, not squeeky. Room had robes, slippers, tea set, fridge...", tv. Bathroom had dryer, shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothbrush set, razor. Toilet equipped with washlet. There was also a tub. Room had wardrobe and 5 hangers. Breakfast was really good. Nice buffet spread of breads, some ham and eggs, and more of Japanese style: salmon, natto, pickles etc. but there was steak as well. The hotel is so near the station. It js just beside Bic Camera.   "This is my second time staying at Palace Hotel Tachikawa. The location is really convenient. Big malls like Takashimaya, Isetan and the JR Station are within short walking distances as well as many smaller shops and eating places. The room although small (but I guess standard Japanese hotel size) is..." nice and clean, especially the bath room. Counter staff at the reception when I checked in and out were not really friendly or helpful but just went about getting their jobs done, although the concierge and bell boy did make a big difference.The airport shuttle stops directly in front of this hotel so it is again really convenient. For the convenience of the location I will stay here again if I come back to Tachikawa. " More >
