  "We stayed in this hostel situated a 5-minute walk from the train station, for 2 nights and we loved it! It was a unique experience sleeping in a room of a stationary train.Though the room was small,it was clean and the cost of the room was very reasonable. The owner, Daniel (very friendly and helpfu..."l!) offered us the adjacent room to keep our luggages as we had 2 big ones! We had a nice view of the Siljan Lake too! Showers and the kitchen were in a nearby building, which used to store locomotives. Daniel is very knowledgeable about Rattvik and he also told us her history. He also told us the attractions and even the bus to take and its timings. He recommended places for us to eat as well. He also runs a souvenir, cafe and second-hand shop in another nearby building.   "Just the perfect place for our one night stop. Cosy and well looked after by friendly owners. Only downside, the room we had, had only bunkbeds and the shower needs a check. But these were minor points, a great place!!!"

Daniel, the owner, is a very warm, friendly and sincere person who makes sure that his guests are properly taken care of. He received us at the station and showed us our apartment. We..." thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything in the apartment was well provided for. It had a wonderful view of Lake Siljan from the balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped with microwave, oven, and stove. The television had so many channels. The wifi signal was very good.The apartment also had several maps and brochures about Rattvik. Scandinavia's longest pier is just across the road and is visible from inside the apartment. There are several supermarkets at 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The walking/cycling trails start at about 100 metres from the apartment. Daniel also provides bikes for rent at a reasonable rent. Besides, he also has a cute store selling souvenirs near the rail...
