This is the best hotel in the Tartras (Poland or Slovak side). The setting is absolutely beautiful. It is a great spot to head out for some long day hikes in the High Tartras. the high tatras is glorious, simply. though the architecture of kempinski's hotel is better than most in the region, it still lacks imagination. the hills are a little spoiled by concrete and the rooms are a tad functional. service is very, very good and the hotel is comfortable. it simply lacks the je ne sais quoi of other kempinski hotels.
