Only 10 years ago Ficuzza, which is not far from Corleone ( but rather far from Palermo), was apparently not a safe destination! A truly wonderful experience. In the hills above Palermo. Rooms have only skylights so could be claustrophobic id you're so inclined, but why spend time in your room?
