When you get to Koh Mak Cococape you've come to one of the most beautiful places on earth. But there is no party place so if you've come for the sake of it, you'll be disappointed. This is pure Vacation! You will lie in the hammock and read a good book or swim in the gorgeous pool or take a... More

This is a nice place but even if some of the bungalows are stated as 10m from beach, this is not a beach were you can go for a swim. The closest beaches are a couple of hundred meters walk from this place. They do however have a nice wooden pier were it's just great to go swimming and sunbathing. This... More

Within 10 seconds of arriving the curt manager demanded full payment in advance before even being offered the chance to unload baggage. There is no beach. Unlike other Thai resorts where the service is always impeccable, meal orders were wrong, late, cold or didn't arrive, even their own set breakfast! Staff would argue and dispute everything even minor details such... More

We chose the cheapest room which was a bungalow on stilts over the mangrove. It was actually too small as it was impossible to walk down the sides of the bed without walking across the corner of the bed. There was only one plug socket which was needed for the fan so we could not charge phones etc.. My girlfriend... More

This is one of the most satisfying resort i've ever stayed. Well located on the cape of the island. Although it has no sand beach in front, the rock is smooth and we have no difficulty walking into the water from the rock. The water is crystal clear and you can see small fish inside. I don't know why others... More

This was our third trip to Ko Mak and our first to the Cococape Resort which is just wonderful. We booked in for 3 nights R&R after a testing trip from Sihanoukville and ended up staying for six nights. We love Ko Mak because the "five families" who have owned this beautiful island for the last 100 years try so... More

The hotel is beautifully built and decorated, with wide price range from shared bathroom cabanas to stilish big rooms and villas, including one made from an ancient boat. All rooms are different and well integrated in the beautiful surroundings. Our room was one of the most expensive, it had full sea view, very nice private verandah, hige bathroom, mosquito nets... We looked at a few places on Koh Mak and found that the Cococape Resort really was the most beautiful place to spend the few days we had on the island. Cococape is made up of several different huts and lodges, we stayed in one of the tree house style huts which was wonderfully rustic (and really quite cheap) -... More

We stayed at this resort for 3 nights in one of the 3 Baan Thai Suites. The view over the bay is great, but to have the view you need to climb many steps to get to the room, which leaves you out of breath at the top. The staff had surrounded outside the room with ant powder and this... More

We had five days available and decided to head off to Koh Mak. Did a bit of research on available accommodation on Koh Mak and decided on the Cococape resort. We took the lowest accommodation which is the Baan Talay straw huts on the water’s edge with shared bathrooms. All was very clean and neat. The breakfasts are simple, you... More
