This was our second visit to Lazy Day Resort. There will be many more. Since we were there last year we have been waiting and dreaming to come back. We did the same misstake as last year. We stayed to few days; seven nights, two more nights than last year. Much to few.The enviroment, the atmosphere, the beach, the hospitality,... More

As mentioned by the other reviewers, this is a wonderful, peaceful place on a charming little island. The beach is clean and nice and you almost have it all to yourself. Practically all bungalows have seaview. Ours had a large veranda with sunbeds. The bungalows are nice and clean and have everything you need, air condition and fan. At one... More

Lazy Day for us is the best place on Koh Mak. First of all this part of the beach is very beautiful and quiet. White sand and no sandflies. They keep it very clean and even got a net against jellyfish. Great for kids. The area is a beautiful garden and not crowded since there are only 12 bungalows. The... More

If you want a nice place, right on the beach, with a great restaurant! Look no further. We had the biggest beach bungalow and that was great as we travelled with a small boy. And he had his own bed. The resort, is a bit used, compared to the other resort we stayed in. but the view from the rooms... More

This was our second trip to Koh Mak and our first stay at Lazy Day Resort. It was superb - the location was perfect, the rooms were cleaned every day, the staff were helpful and very pleasant, and the grounds were well kept. The beach was small but clean. The food was very good. The owners were lovely people. The... More

'Lazy Day' may be one of the more pricey options for your stay at Koh Mak island, but without a doubt it is one of the best. From what we saw driving and walking around the island, Lazy Day offers one of the best (if not the best) beaches and accommodation. Elsewhere seemed smaller, dirtier and generally unkempt (I wish... So often when you come to an island in Thailand, it looks like paradise on paper. The reality is that it often reveals itself as an over-developed tourist trap, where relaxation is impossible due to the noise of bars, loud music, crowds, traffic, on-going building works etc. This is not the case with Koh Mak. It is genuinely a peaceful... More

We enjoyed three really beautiful lazy days there. Perfectly placed at the end of the beach so that you can enjoy absolute quiet while sunbathing or reading at the seaside. Very nice owners and comfort bungalows.

When we arrived at the pier on Ko Mak we telephoned Lazy Day Resort and asked for directions - as we were happy to walk with our backpacks (As yet, this resort is not listed in the "Rough Guide" - we found it on Travelfish). They told us to stay where we were as this would involve a walk of... More

Nice and quiet, good rooms. Service minded staff. Good food. Can only recommend this to others. Would go there again if i'm going to Koh Maak.
