This is a good campsite for families, however the toilet/shower block is inadequate for such a busy site, parents and children use up a lot of spaces on a bathroom visit! Hand dryers had no hot air, seems a bit penny pinching on a site where we had paid £30 a night. There is no public transport but a reasonable... More

We have just got back from a weeks stay here, and what fantastic time we had. The weather was lousy, but then that cant be helped. The staff were so friendly, like family members. Our children had a fantastic time as well, so a big thank you to all the staff, especially the warden Chris, he took so much time,... More

Good clean facilities despite the wet weather. Lovely little site, green with plenty of space. Albeit the site was not busy at the time. Access (free) to the country park is a major bonus for the children and dogs. Good pubs within walking distance. Children loved the mud in the woods and disappeared for hours. The well-kept and varied play... More

Ok. Wish the Tripadvisor site had a "good" star button not just V good or average as this is where on my experience this campsite would sit. PLUS SIDE; small and compact site, about 60-70 pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes etc. They have on site large static tents to hire which looked good as well. Very friendly staff, good shop... I was here for one week in August, weather was very wet, and there was lots of mud, but we rented some boots from the receptions so all was good. We came here in our caravan and had a wonderful time with the friendly staff. The warden was happy and always said hello, and happy with our children who loved... More

After reading quite good reviews and seeing photos on website we decided to take a visit to Brokerswood with our parents and 2 young children.I was very disappointed by the whole place. The childrens playgroud looked dark and dirty, albeit i appreciate how wet and muddy it was,was caused by the weather. The train ride took us about half a mile down through... Excellent campsite for exploring the south-west. Lovely location (altho v muddy!) nice family atmosphere, lake with great play areas dotted all around. Great little train going through the site. Lots of pubs in walking distance (don't miss Kicking Donkey), nice shop with basics & cafe (they serve breakfast but it didnt open till 9am). Takeaway menu available or Morrisons in... More

We stayed for five nights on the main camping field. Great facilities including family bathroom. This was our first family camping trip and this site made the whole trip a better experience. Great staff and very good cafe with exceljant breakfast. Shop was stocked with basic essentials so ideal. Site located not far from Westbury town centre so in any... More

We stayed here for a week with the kids, what a brilliant place. We never saw the kids they were always out playing. After months of rain there was a lot of mud in the woods but a welly wash took care of that, another great idea by the staff who I have to say were amazing, especially Chris the... More

5 of us stayed in our touring vans last weekend at Brokerswood. I have to say it was not one of the best sites I have stayed on. The toilet block was not very clean when we went for showers at approx 8.00pm. There was mud all over the floor and I had to wear flip flops into the shower... More
