This was the third stop on our trip after leaving Lady Grey. We had a beautiful drive through Jouberts pass on the bikes - what gorgeous countyside!! The rest of the tar roads on the way were in good condition. We arrived quite late and in the dark, but no problem finding it. It is out of town on a... More

A lovely friendly place to stay. Nice room and a beautiful verandah and sitting room for guests use. Wonderful views to the mountains. We had an evening meal which was superb, followed next morning by an excellent breakfast.

Stayed for one night to break the journey from the Drakensberg to East London. Very welcoming hosts who provided excellent dinner and breakfast, and were very helpful in advising best route to take to East London.

My mother and I drove to Kopstad from PE as it seemed the biggest town on the map on our selected route before travelling onto JHB airport the next day. I made contact with James after finding thier listing on a wheretostay (one of four), there are more apparently, but it genuinely is not worth looking elsewhere until you have... More

Owner James’ credo is that a B&B must be an extension of the visitor’s house. I wholeheartedly agree, but what if you live in relative luxury? Then you might be a little disappointed with the comforts offered by the Peacehaven guesthouse. However, much is made up by the cordial reception, enthusiasm and attention from the owners and their extended family.... More

We stayed only for one night but this was a lovely spot, beautiful area, pretty garden with amazing view. Cute, clean room. The owners were very accommodating of our puppy who joined us. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

What a lovely stop over to the Cape, with beautiful views of the mountains and what a garden. The supper was a wonderful home cooked meal which was just too much but all fresh. A must the next time we go that route. Our host Pat and James a pleasure to be with and very hospitable.

We were in a group of 10, touring South Africa on motorcycles, and stayed here for one night in early November 2012. Pat and James gave us a wonderful welcome. Luckily, we managed to time our arrival just minutes before the rain came pouring down. This was followed by the entertaining spectacle of a severe thunderstorm, which we watched, wineglass... More

We stopped on our way to the Wild Coast and it was really beautiful. In the middle of nowhere on an amazing peaceful farm with a lovely and caring couple. We really felt like home and I would have loved to stay longer. There is also a very cute dog named Charlie. I would really recommend this place.

A magic place! We are always overwhelmed by this beautiful fascinating view to Mount Currie which you face directly from the terrace. Perfect and generous hospitality. Land-ladies cooking is extraordinarily good. Open-hearted - you always feel at home. Sleep like an angel in a perfect clean and quiet room. It´s a "must" on our way from Durban to Capetown! We...
