We've just returned today from a weekend at the Severn Trow, staying in the Rover's Den room. We arrived on Friday afternoon discouraged by a broken brake line in our car that meant we might have to abort our weekend away. But Sarah and Ken, the owners of the Severn Trow, transformed the situation; Sarah by the warm welcome and... More

Stayed at The Severn Trow last week for the 3rd time. Definately my favourite B&B in the UK. Rather concerned that I might not get in easily in future. The atmophere is quiet and calm. The welcome, warm and respectful of one's privacy. Defintely the best breakfast I've had in 20 years of travelling. Ken and Sarah are very genuine... More

Wonderfully close to the Severn, as we had hoped, very comfortable, unusually generous - all what we might have expected from previous reviews. But we also loved the proprietors' valuses, their fresh local food, their eco-friendly bathroom products, and their personal interest and freindliness to us. Great to find fresh scones in the afternoon, cake and tea at any time,... More

What a treasure of a place to stay! The setting, the many fascinating attractions nearby, the walking and the free buses, then there's such a friendly welcome, the guest kitchen, the rooms with such attention to detail were wonderful - flowers, beers, and the most luxurious toiletries. On top of all that, the fresh baking, the breakfasts (never had such... More

We stayed at the Severn Trow for 2 nights (17-19th April 2012) with my disabled elderly mother. We received a very warm welcome with tea and freshly made scones, jam and cream (delicious!). Our rooms were gorgeous with very comfy beds and beautiful furniture. Mum was able to manage alright despite having to use a triwalker because the rooms were... More

My husband and have just got home having stayed at the Severn Trow for 2 nights. We opted for it because it's position is excellent and the house old - we have an old house and love them, so much more interesting than new houses! Our room was lovely, nice antique furniture a beautiful AND comfortable bed, fresh flowers ........ More

The Severn Trow is a great place to stay to visit the Ironbridge Gorge museums. We stayed there for 3 nights and did not move the car once - we used our feet instead. The Trow is opposite the Jackfield Tile Museum, there is a good footpath along the old railway track to Ironbridge, a short walk to Coalport (for... More

My seven year old son and I booked to stay at the Severn Trow just before Easter as we wanted to visit the Bliss Hill Victorian Village. We received an extremely warm & friendly greeting on arrival and Sarah the owner had even baked cute little Easter cupcakes much to my son's delight. Well OK, mine too! We had a... More

My girlfriend and I spent a fantastic three nights at this lovely little place in Iron Bridge just before Easter this year. Sara and Ken looked after us completely.
