Comfortable bungalow overlooking the river. Lots of birdlife in the lodge compound. Great driver and guide for our Kaziranga game drives. Nothing too much trouble. Food allergies catered for. You can hear the main road from the bungalows, but it is mainly background noise. Saw a huge amount on the game drives, including tiger cubs, one horned Rhino and Hoolock... More

We stayed at Diphlu River Lodge for 4 nights in February. The lodge consists of one luxury tent, 8 private bungalows, and 6 semi-private bungalows. It is located right off the main highway so it is not as secluded and quiet as we expected; lots of horns honking at all hours; we wore ear plugs at night. You are warmly... More

The best jungle river lodge we have experienced in 35 years of travel. Oberoi standard without the pretensions. Relaxed atmosphere, well trained attentive but discreet staff. Fabulous food(best on our two month trip). Luxurious but authentic accommodation, environmentally empathetic - great beds. We would recommend a four night stay - lots to do around the area including, of course, jungle... More

Rooms a large, beds are comfy and bathroom are swish, including quite incredible showers. Food is good, and bar and restaurant Are great. Staff looked after us , and got us in and out of park each day no problems and provided really knowledgable guide. You won't be disappointed turning up here.

What a relief! We left Wildgrass Resort because it was cold and dirty with non functioning shower, uncomfortable beds and no staff to communicate with. Dupli was everything Wild Grass wasnt: beautiful , clean, well organized with great food, nice guests, excellent planned excursions and caring management. Lovely!

It is one of the best Resort in Northeast. We got a good discount as the season was yet to start. The restaurant is excellent and so are the rooms. Nice and clean. Room service is almost non-existance but you dont need them. The location, architecture of the hotel is just second to non in this location. they arranged for... More

Spacious rooms, great setting on the riverside, clean and tidy, helpful staff. Even the food was not so bad. For Indian standards even good, though not in great variety. But who goes there for the food? Wonderful spacious bathrooms. What a bliss after a hot day out in the nature! Or even after 10 days in Nagaland.... sigh. The location... More

The location was excellent, lodges cozy clean and nice and the food was good. The service was personal and understood our needs (we are vegetarian and the staff went out of the way to ensure we were comfortable). The naturalist was great as well. Overall a positive experience outside an urban setting.

This is a new eco-tourism lodge that looks nice but is not run in a very professional manner. The prices are high for the region and frankly, you don't get what you pay for. The bungalows are wooden with thatched roofs and nice balconies, but the larger bungalows have their balconies overlooking the center of the lodge instead of the... More

We booked one night here as an extension of a 7-night cruise on the Brahmaputra River on board of RV Charaidew, operated by Assam Bengal Navigation which also owns this lodge that really exceeded our expectations, at least as far as accommodation and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the resident naturalist are concerned. Our bungalow (is it also called a... More
