Stayed just one night in late March. We felt very cold having travelled from Manchester. Staff quickly found us an electric heater. Thank you. Evening meal in Beefeater was very good for the money. Mobile reception (Orange) was non-existent.

Good points - staff very friendly and helpful, clean, bed very comfy, quiet. Bad points - the breakfast at the beefeater! The hotel is located quite close to the motorway exit. There is a railway line behind the hotel. The car park is uphill. The staff are friendly but the restaurant was crowded so service was slow. Better to book an earlier table when travelling with children.

Staff helpful at reception. Forgot I have been here before. My room seemed miles away from reception. Absolutely terrible mobile phone coverage, Orange EE & 3 non existent and only 1/2 hour free coverage in the hotel. Should be free all the time in the hotel with such an issue. Really, really helpful lady at Reception who explained all of the guarantees, how to book food, how to get in if late back to room.
