Kyrgyzstan is a nice country and especially Lake Issyk-Kul is amazing, but the hotel features very low quality rooms and disgusting food. Great location, beautiful lake, nice view of the Tien Shan mountains opposite the lake and "Tuscany view" on the other side. The Aurora is supposed to be one of those health sanitorium-type places that you go to take various medical treatments. There were a number of different ones, both savory (massages) and unsavory (not going there!), but I didn't do them and can't speak for them. It's very - well... basic.
