“A peaceful place in a picturesque valley”

I have to agree with the other reviews here, the managers and all staff were exceptional. After having driven 16 hours from Vilcabamba, arriving at this handsome hotel was not only GREAT, but being welcomed so warmly nearly made me cry with relief. “Awesome staff and location”

Very helpful staff and location of the hotel its a big bonus, im from peru and i was amazed of chachapoyas and the locations around. Managers of the hotel are the most helpful people ! Ps: try the milanesas in the restaurant menu

“Excelent - Pity so far away from Lima”

After driving from Chiclayo but having started our trip in Lima, it was great to swim in the pool. Spent 3 nights with a very friendly staff. Food was average but staff was keen to adjust. “Great place for peace and tranquility.”

The good: peaceful setting.. Great service. The average: breakfast is average-watery scrambled eggs; no sausage or bacon. I would recommend this place again and again. While the breakfast buffet was average, the service, location and overall quality was exceptional!

Like a previous reviewer, the staff at this hotel deserve special mention. I understand that the hotel was only opened late 2011, however the manager has attracted a great bunch of people who could not be more friendly or helpful. The hotel is beautiful, an old hacienda with galleries and balconies, set in a lovely sheltered valley, next to a fast flowing river, surrounded by well kept gardens.
