When we return to Great Barrier Island, we'll definitely be staying at the Sunset Waterfront Lodge again. Very friendly people, amazing location, clean and comfortable... what more can you ask for? Our beachfront studio had a nice green are and we got to sit outside admiring the beach view for a while. There is also a small general store nearby... More

We had no idea where we wanted to stay on Great Barrier Island and Sunset Waterfront was suggested to us. I am so glad we stayed there, it was perfect for our family. I don't think I have stayed in such a clean motel in a long time. Every creature comfort you need was there. The management were very friendly... More
