We were driving from the south to Santiago de Compostela and the surrounding coutryside was beautiful but very rural. To come upon a hotel of this excellent standard in such a beautiful unspoilt village was an absolute treat!!

Right by the river, on the outskirts of the village of Allariz and next to a gourmet Galician/French restaurant, Villa de Allariz was truly the place to spend a couple of quiet days. Allariz is a little ancient town at Galicia - Spain. It has a remarquable medieval town center thas is delightfull. A river passes througt with ancient bridges and cheerfull life of kids playing in the water. The hotel stays along an enormous garden plenty of peace.

I stayed with my husband and baby at this hotel over the weekend. We had a spa package including bed and breakfast, which was good value for the price.
