We had a very nice room with kingsize bed streetside. It was clean and the bathroom is very modern and clean as well. Every room has a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Great. We stayed for dinner and had burger, fries and caesar salad. Everything tasted very good, only the caesar dressig tasted a little bit to strong... More

We just spent 2 nights at the Kaslo Hotel. This hotel was rebuilt in 2009 and done with quality workmanship. It is right on the little main street in Kaslo so steps from everything, including the pub and restaurant which are on the main floor of the hotel. The back of the hotel and the pub look out over the... More

Thank you so very much for your positive feedback on our Hotel, pub and restaurant! The owners took much time and consideration in the remodeling of The Kaslo Hotel. Great care was taken in the effort to make it very much like a historic hotel, right down to the the little details. Again, thank you very much for taking the... More

We were quite looking forward to our visit and had high expectations, based on reviews and the good things that we had heard about the hotel from friends. I also spoke to the manager ahead of time, and she was incredibly helpful and professional. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. I will give 1 star for the rooms, which are... More

Thank you very much for your feedback on your stay with us. I am very sorry that the air conditioner was not working up to par for you during your stay. Kaslo had some power issues/outages this summer, and that created problems with the controls on our geo-thermal air conditioning . We had technicians in on more than one occasion.... More

This is revamped heritage hotel. It's five stars taking it for what it is - an excellent overnight stop when touring small towns in BC. There was no closet or desk in our room. If you want an iron and ironing board you have to ask for it. The room was clean and comfortable. The service friendly and excellent. No... More

Thank you so much for your comments! We are so happy that your group had such an excellent time here with us, that you are considering coming back again next year. Your group booked all 11 of our guest rooms, as well as all 3 of our condos on the top floor. Unfortunately you got booked into one of our... More

Hotel is beautiful, however the air conditioner wasn't up to the task. The owners fiddled with it for awhile, and by midnight the warm air was blowing around at about 78 F.. Doesn't make for a great sleep. Bed sagged to the centre. The restaurant presented me with an inedible salad. When I informed the waiter he shrugged and walked... More

Thank you so much for your feedback! Unfortunately we did have some problems with our "state of the art" geo-thermal air conditioning system this summer. We had our technicians in, and everything is in working order now. Once we reset the system, it does take some time for the rooms to cool down again. I am very sorry you spent... More

I recently visited the hotel and pub with a friend visiting from Vancouver.....the staff seemed young and inexperienced, when asked the waitress didn't know if the ceasar salad dressing was made in house or much else for that matter. I am tired of going out and forgiving staff for not doing their jobs because they are "cute" or "young" or... More

Hello! I am very sorry that you did not have a great experience in our pub on your trip to Kaslo. We did have many of new staff over the spring and summer, HOWEVER that does not excuse not knowing how to answer your questions about our menu. We strive to "make it right" for all of our patrons, and... More

Large, well appointed rooms, but a bit pricey. Lunch selections were varied and tasty but dinner was disappointing with smaller portions and less fresh vegetables. Keep in mind it is really only one of two places open in town where you can get food and a drink after 8:00p.m. It will be nice when the brew pub gets operational.

Had a great experience at the Kaslo Hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfy and I was blown away by the view...Service is great, food is delicious and Kaslo is definitely a beautiful and quaint mountain town.

About 1.5 hours NE of Castlegar, BC is the town of Kaslo. Staying overnight for business I was astonished at this gem situated at the lake front. The hotel must have been recently redone and all is 1st class. Rooms are luxurious with large balconies. Pub has excellent food at reasonable prices. Hotel is immaculate and staff are eztremely friendly... More

When thinking of accomodation above a pub, most people would not think of luxury. But luxury is exactly what is on offer here. The building is just three years old and was modled on an old colonial era style building. They have done an amazing job of the renovation which would be better described as a modern boutique hotel in... More
