We were staying in Beignon for 2 days for business but on a wet and cold Sunday afternoon in May (I thought i would be late spring!) there is only a pizza shop there so we drove to this restaurant a few kilometres away, after reading the leaflet on it at the Beignon Hotel.

This hotel is in a wonderful location close to an old Abbey and beautiful lakes and forest. The food was very good and we had a very comfortable room with a massive walk in shower. Very welcoming staff.

I was impressed by the rooms here. They were very clean and comfortable, and of an acceptable size. There was a king size bed, which was conducive to a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was large, with a great shower. The room we stayed in was suitable for disabled, and I don’t know if all the rooms were as generous...

The new owner has renovated the whole place 2 years ago and has make a very beautiful place out of it.
