We stayed in this camp while it was located in Ndutu. The camp is a mobile camp that spents the time from November until April in Ndutu and from June to October in the Serengeti. They move with the wildebeest migration so you can see the most of it. Because this is a mobile camp the facilities are like that... More

Serengeti Savannah Camp was very well maintained and efficiently operated, but it was a bit too rustic for us. The tent was clean and well sealed from mosquitoes, provided lots of bottled drinking water and was fairly comfortable for sleeping. We did not enjoy the non-flush toilet nor the bucket shower, although our tent attendant was very attentive.

We spent two nights at camp #10 during our 12 day safari. We very much enjoyed the functional tents. Every night they would have pre-dinner drinks by the camp fire. All the guests would grab a drink and sit around the fire until dinner. Dinners were very good for camps. It was a bit different here as you sit with... More

We stayed in 4 different tented camps during our safari, and this was our least favorite. This was the largest of the camps, and because there were so many tents and so many guests it felt much less rustic than the other camps where we stayed. The tents were all lined up and very close together, so the only noises... More

I want to preface this with the fact that if you are looking for basic accomodation in Africa, this may be a great place for you. The website was a little misleading which is what lead to our disappointment. We had trouble finding the place and because it is set on a marsh and there had been some heavy rain,... More

Having experienced the wonderful katikati camp, this place was disappointing. The staff were friendly, manager helpful and the chef grumpy--- which reflected on the quality of the food. But the bush was friendly and the animals kept their distance. The chemical toilets are not very efficient and need to be replaced by water closets --- for a variety of reasons.

This is a hard review for me. We stayed here for 2 nights in late December and the staff could not of been more friendly. It’s old school Africa and it’s a moving camp so at this time of year it was in the Ndutu region of the Serengeti which is in the south on the border of the Ngorongoro... More

We spent two nights here during our tour of the Northern Circuit in Dec 2010/Jan 2011. This was definitely the most bush-like of all our accommodations and had the authentic feel of being out in the middle of the savannah. Buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala wandered through the camp; and in the night, we could hear the howls of hyenas... More

We were very surprised to have the whole place to ourselves (group of 4) in March, Ndutu area. The camp staff outnumbered us. Good food, loved the campfire at night. Chemical toilet kept clean. Wonderful to be in the middle of the bush and hear the night sounds. Our guide ate meals with us which we enjoyed, I worried about... More

This had to be our favourite stop on your 14 day safari. The wildlife viewing around here was like no other on our trip, just amazing. We spent two nights here, and wish we could have spent more. (even though my 7 year old woke me up the first night because of a thunder and lightening storm and asked me... More
