Serengeti Savannah Camp was very well maintained and efficiently operated, but it was a bit too rustic for us. The tent was clean and well sealed from mosquitoes, provided lots of bottled drinking water and was fairly comfortable for sleeping. We did not enjoy the non-flush toilet nor the bucket shower, although our tent attendant was very attentive.

Having experienced the wonderful katikati camp, this place was disappointing. The staff were friendly, manager helpful and the chef grumpy--- which reflected on the quality of the food. But the bush was friendly and the animals kept their distance. The chemical toilets are not very efficient and need to be replaced by water closets --- for a variety of reasons.
