This little hotel is in a wonderful location by the river. You can sit on the covered patio and enjoy the day or dine in the dining room which looks right out on the river. Birds are everywhere. The bed was good, the shower fine, could not ask for more.

Trust me, this tip will salvage your time in this part of Ecuador. Los Yutzos has Air conditioning, and not all Tena hotels/hostals do. Some very nice (and well-rated places) are fine, but lack AC. A very quiet, safe and convenient hotel to the best of Tena. Across from Parque Amazonica, close to the footbride and right on the river. Clean, comfortable air conditioned rooms with several overlooking the river. I'd highly reccomend to foreign travelers.

When we arrived in Tena there was lots of construction going on and a lot of roadwork was taking place. Our room in Los Yutzos was lovely and spacious and had a great location overlooking the river.
