Aircon 24 hrs, wifi in the rooms, cable TV, overlooking the river (though you need to request these rooms), comfortable bed and hot shower. Breakfast is included for free but is muy basic, you'll have to request and pay more for eggs and bacon (which should actually be included for free to make this place exceptional). It was fine, that's all a bit run down but spacious rooms with air con and a nicish view if you get a balcony room or view of the river (i don't know whether there were balcony rooms) Staff ok but they don't speak any English and the bill total... This little hotel is in a wonderful location by the river. You can sit on the covered patio and enjoy the day or dine in the dining room which looks right out on the river. Birds are everywhere. The bed was good, the shower fine, could not ask for more.

More hotel than traditional hostal, price and quality and location make Hostal Los Yutzos the best choice for accommodations in Tena. Trust me, this tip will salvage your time in this part of Ecuador. Los Yutzos has Air conditioning, and not all Tena hotels/hostals do. Some very nice (and well-rated places) are fine, but lack AC.
