We stayed at Liana lodge for two nights and three days. We took two buses and a canoe(5mins) to get to the lodge from Quito. The journey was long but fun. The staff at Liana lodge were very welcoming, the rooms were fabulous and the food was plentiful. We loved this place but didnt see any animals (except at zoonica). Food/ambience was wonderful, but we expected to hear more jungle sounds and see some animals. we will return to the jungle, but to a place deeper in the jungle.

Fantastic experience, getting there from Quito required a bus then canoe down the river into the jungle. Great food, wonderful atmosphere in the dining room.
