We stayed in a quaint and very picturesque village called salardu in the Hotel Deth Pais.
Very friendly staff, warm, clean and cosy with an open fire in the bar/restaurant, free wifi, free parking right outside the door and only 4 km to the slopes. Anything wrong was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Warm welcome; fantastic, HUGE breakfast and a lift back to the trailhead. Don't bother with hikers' hotels - stay here! Lovely, family atmosphere in modern, bright hotel.
