As with many other Japanese hotels, the Grand Hotel is pretty charmless to look at from the outside. However, these hotels are designed to offer lovely views from the hotel, and the Grand Hotel was no exception. From our Japanese tatami room, we had a great view of the adjacent river and the lovely autumnal colours.
