“Great villa, but a LONG way from the city”

Great villa with good food , outstanding Wine for 6 Euros a bottle, great town, but TOO far outside of Rome if you are planning on commuting. It's easy an hour drive. THe view is terrific as I had a room with a terrace shared by another room and the view of Rome was spectacular.

The hotel is central to the town of Albano which is typical Italian (we didn't see another English person in 3 days!). The hotel is simple but clean and our room had a great view right to the coast, it's set in it's own gardens and is right next to bus stops. Albano also has a nice lake which is... More
