We stayed 2 nights but would have been great to stay longer. The surrounds of the property and history of The Coach House was fabulous. Des the owner makes a fantastic host and makes you extremely welcomed. We asked many questions and found Des to be very knowledgable and helpful.

We were very impressed with our stay at the coach house. We knew that it was an old estate, but we're not prepared fot the beautiful restoration. Our room was beautiful as well as comfortable, and the owner, Des, was gracious and knowledgable. Our breakfast was very good , and I only wish we could have explored the gardens. Weather... More

Wonderful old building, great breakfast, and friendly owner. It's a bit off the beaten track but well worth searching out for its character. The book of photos showing before and after are quite staggering. What an effort Des has put into this place! I have no hesitation recommending it.

we really enjoyed our stay at the coach house. The owner was very welcoming and happy to help and give advice; it was also very interesting to talk with him about all the work that has been done to renovate the ruin. And what an awesome job has been done!!!! And everything is very nicely decorated and thought. Really the... More

In reading the other reviews for The Coach House, I realized the other reviewers had said it all. Not much for me to add. The good things they said about Des and his Coach House are all totally true. We recently spent three delightful nights there. Des was always right there to answer any questions we might have, and to... More

Just back from 3 nights at the Coach House. It is a beautifully renovated old building in a lovely rural location but only 10 minutes drive from Waterford or the motorway. The best thing about it is Des the owner. Nothing is too much trouble for Des - tea in the lounge, lifts from the pub and recommendations for dining... More

This B&B was by far our favourite on our trip to Ireland. It was set in a beautiful location round the ruin of a castle. The charming host made us feel very welcome and gave us all the information we asked for. The room was spacious and conveniant, insuring a great nights sleep and plenty of storage. This stunning building... More

The best B & B we had in Ireland! Charming host, beautyful house and rooms, perfect breakfast. A little bit like in Tuscany, but much more relaxing and friendly. The host can you tell all about the best trips and locations. But don't trust the veggie food in the pub nearby the house. ;-)

It is so lovely to be met at the door by your host who takes the time to really make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this welcoming place. Lovely room, great breakfast. There is low key music in the lounge with the fire lighting and it feels like home.

Just stayed two nights at this establishment. It is gorgeous, wonderful breakfast, pleasant and very informative host. The grounds are beautiful! Would return to this B & B if ever in the area again.
