Could not believe that a government-run Resort could be this good...Prices are slightly high...We stayed in cottage with small garden and personal outdoor eating area. Food in restaurant is good. Service is very slow though...They have a swimming Pool too......

most of the tourists visiting sanchi from bhopal have lunch/tea at restaurant of it.The resort otherwise is a good option for one night stay,,and you can also visit udaigiri caves ..8 kms from sanchi easily nextday when you leave the place.

1st of all I could not believe that a MP tourism Govt owned Hotel could be this well maintained. The Hotel had rooms as well as cottages with good resort type furnishings. It is a nice property,with cottages spread around a central courtyard....with nice peaceful atmosphere.......only it is not maintained well like all state run hotels......rooms are not very clean...just manageable....service is ok....in peak periods the staff seems inadequate......but you have no better choice if you want to stay in Sanchi.......Bhopal is a better option .
