Loved our overnight at Moorfield House. Room 6 which had a really comfy bed with perfect pillows. Large bathroom with fluffy towels. Large flat screen TV , alarm clock. We were very comfortable at Moorfield House and enjoyed our room at the front of the house overlooking the main street of the small village of Board of Garten. “Very cosy B&B in the Cairngorms!”

My wife and I stayed here for one night in May while touring the Highlands. We found it very comfortable and clean, and would definitely stay here again! Ample parking, great location, and the Anderson's Bistro is a great place to eat just a couple minutes walk away. Highly recommended from both of us.

We met up with my sister and brother-in-law here on our way to a family wedding. The rooms are lovely, individually decorated with different tartans and very comfortable; we had an excellent welcome and breakfast. A place I would gladly recommend. Just a shame we only had one night here!

“Very welcoming”

I stayed along with other family members attending a funeral. We could not have been made more welcome. A beautiful house, lovely rooms and a great breakfast. The owners really could not have done more for us. Thoroughly recommended I hope to return and spend more time there in the future.
