Great hospitality given by Sophia and Christos, a lovely little hotel just across the road from the beach. The best place for a cool beer is Alpha Bar, Stella gives excellent friendly service, and free sun beds, and best restaurant is the Poseidon down at the harbour front.

Kokkari is a charming village in northern Samos. The harbor is filled with tavernas that serve good food (eg. La Bussola and Meltemi are nice). Also a few good Italian restaurants (eg.
