I returned to Luisa by the Sea after spending Xmas and New Year 2011/12 here. Unfortunately the standard of the cottage this year (Jan 2012) was dissapointing. Luisa is a very down market resort but quiet has a lovely charm about the gardens not manicured a bit wild in places but you know you are in India. The cottage Sunshine... More

The ad described a "vacationer's ultimate dream, exclusive holiday homes set in a prestigious condominium" with swimming pool. That is much overrated by western standards. Luisa by the sea is a wonderful place to stay in South Goa. The villas are very spacious with some of them having a swimming pool. The area around the villas is very well maintained. If you are not that keen about staying in a typical hotel, then Luisa by the sea is definitely the best option for a relaxed... More

This was our second trip with Sophie George and I have to say,she excelled herself with this one,she could not have been more helpful, always smiling and there if you needed her,the girls who cleaned the room were scrupulous, constantly smiling and singing while they worked, the pool was excellent and cleaned very morning, and the position of the estate couldn't be better(right in... I traveled there with my wife and my 3 young children in Nov 2010. The villa is located in a compound close to the beach. The compound is beautiful and the greenery is awesome. The seafood is great in the many stalls in the nearby. The villa is also close to supermarkets and close to the main shopping street where... More

We stayed at a Villa owned by Sophie George - No. 46. It was a great experience. It was a family reunion and went off beautifully. The bungalow was comfortable and clean, ideal proximity to the beach, clean pool and quiet and tranquil location. All our requirements were met promply. The service was good and Sophie was extremely helpful. She... More

This year will be our fifth year staying at Luisa by the sea. Every year we look forward to our escape from England to our piece of 'paradise'. Luisa is an ideal location for the beach and dining in the local village. The villas are compact and have everything one needs. The gardens are beautiful, well maintained and so tranquil... More
