This year we decided to take our first short stay break in Victoria which is a favourite destination of ours. Having explored the Yarra Valley, Melbourne City, Ballarat, Bendigo, Daylesford and the Great Ocean Road over the past couple of years we were interested in somewhere within easy access to Melbourne given our visit was only 4 days duration. What... More

We stayed in the Majestic suite just after the Easter break for 2 nights. It was magnificent, and much larger than we expected. Eileen and Denis made our stay so wonderful. There were fresh flowers in the suite, chocolates, wine, great breakfast provisions, music, dvd's... there was nothing more to add. We really loved the 1920's cottage style accommodation too... More

A place to still your soul and let your creativity run free - What perfect peace and beauty. Real food, real books, real roses and tulips and real comfort! So many thoughtful touches to surprise and delight us. I think Fern Cottage is my spiritual home and we imagined living there! But now we are home again and the wonderful... More

We stayed here two years ago while visiting family and loved it then. And as a creature of habit i didn't feel the need to 'try' somewhere else. The gardens are more beautiful than i remember, and it was lovely to escape the family back to the comfort of the Fern suite. They only have two cottages so it is... More

My husband and I absolutely loved this BnB it was fantastically organised with everything a person could ask for... Everything was supplied not a thing out of place. The smell of the freshly cut flowers, the beautiful little antiques and trinkets set out perfectly. It was straight out of a magazine of old world cottage charm! With a few modern... More

Could not have asked for nicer accommodation for our 'babymoon'. Our hosts had thought of everything, with fantasic breakfast provisions, extras like vases of cut flowers and a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates upon our arrival. The Majestic Suite was beautifully appointed with the open fire place making for a very romantic and cosy stay. Would definitely return and... More

We stayed here mid week when visiting local relatives. It was a beautiful setting. We stayed in the Fern Suite with it's own private decking area where i enjoyed a cup of tea while the ducks, parrots and kookaburras entertained me! And having a candlelit spa bath was fabulously romantic after being in an area with water restrictions! Everything to... More
