This place has it all: perfect location just off the square in the old town of Tiradentes, beautiful grounds and gardens (with a great pool) and wonderful service. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable and the food (breakfast and afternoon tea), really good - lots of delicious homemade treats, all served in a lovely, flower-filled room overlooking the gardens.... What a find - touted as the best hotel in this beautiful colonial village I had high hopes and they weren't disappointed. Rooms had a unique timeless character sorely missing in todays brand of ultra modernistic hotels. The interior design made the hotel feel like a convivial safari lodge and the location is perfect (Right off of the main square).... More

A truly lovely hotel in a colonial building which has been lovingly restored by its English and Brazilian owners. All the rooms and common spaces are tastefully decorated with antigue furnishings. The breakfasts are lovely - served at table, are is the wonderful formal tea.

this is a great hotel in a beautiful house and with a garden to die for. Breakfast and afternoon tea are just perfect, as are the rooms and the service. It is on the pricey side, but it is worth the overall experience. Will come back!!!

In the baroque little town of Tiradentes, this is a charming hotel, with all the facilities you may need. A beautiful restored house, with an incredible breakfest and afternoon tea in the style of the countryside. The rooms are decoreted in a style that goes on with the building and the city itself. Great location, near to main square and... More

This is the hotel. There are other places in town but none has the charm, the facilities, the service, the location, the garden and pool of this wonderful hotel. There are only 18 rooms set in a large compound just off the main square of Tiradentes. The rooms are oversized and furnished with local art and handicrafts. There is a... More

This hotel is perfect if you want to stay in town. It is a block away from the main square, within walking distance to most restaurants. The setting is fantastic - lots of green areas and a lovely pool. The rooms are very large, although they are a bit dark; the bathrooms are spacious, with a beautiful tub. Birds wake... More

The Solar da Ponte is a great little hotel, with just 18 rooms. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and English speaking guests will have no difficulties there. The Solar is at the historical center of Tiradentes, and at walking distance of everything there is to see in town. Breakfast is good, eggs, fruits, juice, coffee, toast, milk and... More

This is a very pleasant hotel. Right in the middle of this charming town. The room was spacious, very well decorated with a wonderful view of the garden; flowers in the room ( taken away on the second day and not replaced), lots of toileteries in the ( small) bathroom; turn down service at night. Very helpful and efficient staff.... More

This is undoubtedly the best Pousada in the town. It has an ideal location beside the main square. (Beware many other Pousadas which spread for several kilometers around the outskirts of town). It has an excellent secluded pool area. Their speciality (courtesy of the English owner) are the excellent teas (included in rate) and buffet breakfast. It has an "English... More
