We stayed four nights in a 2 bedroom cabin and it was fine. Basic but what you'd expect from a caravan park located where it is. It was clean, the beds comfortable and it had good storage space. The bedrooms came with both ceiling fans and air conditioners. The toilet and bathroom are in a separate building right outside the... More

We stayed in a bush bungalow which is essentially a tepee on stilts! The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with a fridge and sink. There is also an outdoor barbecue area although we did not use it. Each bungalow has its own toilet and shower in a separate block. The accommodation is basic but does have... More

Unique accommodation in well located park. Be prepared for an early wake up due to the chorus of hut/ bathroom doors slamming as guests get ready for their early morning ( 5am) journey to view the wetlands / rock art

We were in a campervan. The only had powered sites with ensuites! Luxury. this was fine as we had spent a couple of days free camping. Everything worked well including the laundry and reception were very helpful.

Just to be clear, there isn't a lake! There's two ways of looking at this place. The good is that you get well equipped, clean, large units at, for the NT, a reasonable price. Somewhat bizarrely each unit has an outside bathroom and toilet - not so great in the middle of the night. The bad? The units are in... More

We booked into a "bush bungalow" for the two nights in the early dry. The bungalow itself is a high platform covered with tent-like sails with mesh sides. The roof is very high and has a ceiling fan. It contains a double bed and 2 bunk beds, a small fridge and cupboard. Our private bathroom is in a separate building... More

We loved loved loved this place! We stayed in the bush bungalows in the middle of a heat wave (no ac) and still loved it! Our bungalow was so clean it was shocking in such a difficult environment to keep anything clean and the bathrooms were spotless! The staff was so accomodating givng us great advice about the heat and... More

We stayed here one night on 29th Dec(wish it was more!) in a two roomed cabin. The aircon and fans were thoughtfully turned on when we got in at around 1pm. We found everything we needed in the well maitained kitchen - it was the best place we stayed in during our 4 days in NT. The only thing we... More

I'm happy to hear that Lakeview Park Kakadu is the best place you stayed in the N.T. Your suggestion about an enclosed walkway to the bathroom has been noted and I thank you for your comments. More

Jabiru lies in the middle of important Kakadu attractions, so it is a good location to choose. We had a doubleroom in Lakeview's "Six Packs". Furniture was o.k. but both airconditioner and fridge were far too loud - either you can't sleep because of the noise or the heat. Building is made from corrugated iron, you can hear every noise... Thank you for drawing our attention to a possible problem with noisy appliances. We have checked all fridges and air-conditioners and can reporrt that all seem quiet now. It is unfortunate that you had noisy neightbours during your stay. Most people tend to try to keep the noise down when in a building such as the Six Packs with shared... More

Just plain great! The cabin are really cool: you can see through them and hear the forest around. Bring earplugs, though, or the flying dogs will keep you awake. The bathrooms are separate, private and very clean and new. The BBQ-facilities are in ship shape condition. BTW: Jabiru has an Olympic public pool (!)

The old flying foxes -fruit bats ( I just love "the flying dogs") are always happy to let anyone know they are around. We only have a few around on some occasions here at the park. We name the flying foxes the "night shift" & when they knock off the "morning shift" arrives - all the beautiful birds. Good to... More
