Checked in last week to the wonderful sound of bagpipes nearby. Impressive Hotel and Country Club located away from the main road, in extensive, beautiful grounds, absolutely ideal for golfers. Bedrooms right up to Marriott standards. Some of the bedrooms are quite a long walk from the reception though. Living up to the Marriott reputation. Great room in facility build onto an old manor house. The areas around the club house for the golf course are undergoing much needed remodeling.
