Les Petites Charmilles is a beautiful, rural B&B near to all the main tourist attractions to be seen in the Dordogne region. James and Theresa were really welcoming and gave us good advice on days out. It was very hot when we were staying so dip in their lovely pool on our return from a day out was great. A fridge provided for guests use was good to store a bottle of wine or picnic food. All in all thoroughly recommended.

Our family of four stayed here for two nights. The kids got their room, we got ours. My journalist spouse had a deadline for filing a story and a drained laptop, so was desperate to find an adapter plug so that she could charge her laptop that had only a US adapter plug that doesn't fit into French electric sockets.... Great hosts in a great location. James and Theresa did everything to make us feel at home. The location is perfect if you want to explore the Périgord Noir: all the great castles like Castelnaud and Beygnac are easy to reach, the medieval town of Sarlat is also close by. Make sure to try Theresa's Indian dishes, they're really great!
