We stayed at the Scandic in Forssa for one night in July. The hotel lobby and facade were renovated and nice, but the rooms, corridors and breakfast room were badly outdated. We were in the hotel at the end of November. Weather was terrible outside but it didn't spoil our stay in hotel. I think we liked most about the hotelservice, especially staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not bad not excellent. No air condition,so it is probably hot in summertime.

We'd like to spend few days not far from Helsinki for reasonable price. Forssa is well located - abt. 100 km from Helsinki, Tampere and Turku. Spent a night with 3 friends of mine in September 2011 in the hotel. Service was really great, for example sauna was warmed up for us with after the regular hours which was perfect kick start for our evening. Breakfast was good Scandic standard however furnitures in the room (we had family room) need some urgent attention!

Chairs in the room were worn out and spa area of hotel was terrible. Swimming pool was out of order and even some tiles were missing from it. Staff said that we could use sauna and spa area after opening hours...thanks for that. Breakfast was good and there were plenty choices. Parking garage was free and there were security cameras.

Hotel has excellent staff and very good restaurant. Breakfast has plenty of selections, something for everyone. Free parking carage and wifi for hotel quests. Good location in the center of the city. I would recommend this to business travelers and also families.
