This is a decent hotel, particularly for rural Tibet. The food is good, the staff friendly, and the rooms ample-sized. The only drawback was that when we tried to clean up and shower in the morning, there was no hot water.

A very chinese-style "palace", oversized lobby with a gun in front of a hugue picture of the potala palace. There are also hourly room rates indicated, obviously for the local people in power.
