We had a wonderful short break in North Wales staying in this wonderful little haven nestling by the River Ogwen. The standard of the house, fittings and furniture is fantastic. The owners are welcoming and knowledgable, and their breakfast and cake making skills exemplary. We couldn't have asked for better.

A warm welcome awaited us on our arrival at the Mill, along with refreshments, the Mill is situated in an awesome location lots of wildlife and a river running close, seats outside for the warm weather. The rooms are spotless comfortable and furnished to a high standard with plenty of space, homemade cake left for afternoon tea after our day... More

We had a fantastic time at the mill and Shirley and Jeff couldn't have been more helpful. Special attention was paid to my partners dietary needs and Shirley put care into ensuring the cakes left in the room were suitable for my partner. The room was of a very high standard with lots of space and a walk in wardrobe.... More

A beautiful hotel in a secluded spot. The owners were very friendly and gave a warm welcome. The breakfasts were beautiful every day only surpassed by the cakes! The room was perfect and very clean (we stayed in the river view room which came with the relaxing sound of the river). In a great spot about 20mins from most of... More

I spent ages looking for the perfect romantic retreat as a birthday present for my husband and was not disappointed! Our room was Meadow View - the bed was huge, the room very spacious and we loved that you could cosy up to watch DVDs on the large TV in our room after a day out walking. We also loved... More

After an extensive search for a nice B&B to get away for our 1st wedding anniversary we stumbled upon this gem and through previous reviews on tripadvisor decided to book for a 3 night stay. After a long drive and a long day we were keen to get to the B&B and relax. The directions off the website are good... More

Immaculate room, very clean, large comfortable bed, internet and set in stunning grounds with watermill and flowing rivers. Breakfast?, well, one of the best I've ever had. Great choice and quality of accommodation in a very peaceful location surrounded by woodlands and all that nature brings with it. Excellent one night stay.....but I'm definitely heading back with my wife! Thanks... More

Thanks to excellent directions (with photos) we had no trouble finding this old mill tucked away in the trees. I say old mill, only because that's how the main building began life...the B&B is now a beautiful, bright, modern building, lovingly restored and renovated by the owners (check out the pictures on the wall near the dining room). We stayed... More

I would say That I am on the Demanding side and I'd not find anything at all to criticise about this B&B. Jeff and Shirley are the most amazing host who make you very very welcome. The room (we had the Meadow Room) was large, tastefully decorated, huge comfy bed, vast selection of teas, fresh milk, bottled water and a... More

Lovely large room; beautiful renovated house; very clean; great breakfast and yummy cakes. Not a lot of places to eat in the evening locally, but fine for just a few nights. Highly recommended; fantastic time.
