I would have given this 5-stars back in 2009 when I first experienced it. There were no tents set up on the beach, and you approach the island from the "front" where the wide shore is. There were colorful flags bordering the shoreline, which made it really pretty and welcoming. At the time, there were only about 2 other groups... More

This is a nice beach to swim. it was kinda roller coaster ride to get here! (fun for me).. the waves were about 3 feet high (just an estimate) i really don't have any clue how to measure them. the ride was insane though. we parked on the other side of the beach and walked a trail.. a nice place... Getting there takes 1.5 hours, depending on the wind, if it's in your favor (hangin Amihan or hangin Habagat). It is a place if you want to take a swim in the beach. There are tents set up, but that's it. It isn't as relaxing as I expected. There's no place to take a relaxing nap. There's white sand and... More

Boats are parked on the backside of the beach. You'd pass the "jungle like" and a bit grayish sand full of shells on that part but when you reach the tent, you could see the nice wide stretch of beach. It was powdery white but was again expecting a more relaxing ambiance like that of banana island, there are green... More

Loved this island. As part of our island hopping tour we ended up staying here for a little over an hour to swim/snorkel and have lunch. Take the banka out to get to where the giant clams are and see some corals. If you're lucky, you might be able to spot a young blacktip reef shark. I know I did.... More

I am reviewing the beach and not the hotel. This little island is beautiful. White beach and there is actually someone sweeping up the seaweeds and trash from the beach. It has a little cliff for you to get an elevated view of the beach. You can get coconut juice there at P40 and rent either a cottage or tent.... More

This small island was about 1,5 - 2 hours by boat from Coron public market. Clean water with powdery white sand, you can bring your own picnic meals here, or even cook a BBQ here. Make sure you visit this island when you go to coron, I warranty you will satisfy.

This is one of the most beautiful islands I've seen! It will take you an hour and a half to get from Coron town proper to here but it's all worth it! The sand is powdery white and it stretches really, really far! The water is blue, calm, and there are no rocks beneath so swimming is such a delight!... More

I spent 17 wonderful days in the Philippines in March. One of the most memorable places was Malcapuya Island, the nicest beach I have ever seen. Beautiful, clean white sand, huge palm trees, turquoise colour sea and beautiful view from the view deck. The Island is not far from Coron city by sea. The operator of the island is very... More
