We spent 4 days at the Bahia Lodge for our Christmas holiday. Lothar, the owner, made our stay very special. Our small cabins were clean and simple, the food was good and the staff friendly. Bahia Lodge is a special place to relax and explore. Thank you Lothar for making our visit special.

We stayed at Bahia Lodge in 2010 and had an unbelievable stay. Capurgana itself is quiet and idyllic, but Bahia lodge takes it to another level. Small rustic, clean, quiet cabanas right on the water.
And the staff (and locals for that matter) were nothing short of fantastic. Never been anywhere like it.

We stayed in the Bahia Lodge near the end of our 6 month round the world trip. Looking at the photos again brings back so many great memories of this place. Capurgana itself is nice, but if you really want to get away from it all and completely relax, give Lothar a shout and he'll collect you at the harbour...

Bahia Lodge is a jewel, a hidden paradise! The comfortable Cabanas seem to have grown out naturally among the plants, flowers, and palm trees. The atmosphere is grand. And Lothar the owner is in the business of providing satisfaction to his clientele. A fantastic gem at a reasonable cost...
