We stayed here for 9 days and was an unforgettable experience. Great location, as you can drive all over Tuscany easily. We felt at home, so the staff were friendly and kindly. They provided all kinds of information and assistance on arrival. Our apartment was spacious, clean...marvelous! the restaurant brilliant, high quality food. In summary, the facilities and the place´s... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in september, the weather was lovely, so we could have breakfast ans diner outside. Only the last day we had a thunderstorm and rain, so we had to stay inside. We had a lovely room, silos b, which had a romantic livingroom where we could stay and read a book and have a wine.... More

Dear guest, thank you for your comment and for the compliments. For sure the charge of 15 Euros for a bottle of water was an error. We are waiting for you next summer maybe to give you what you already paid this summer ;-). Sorry for this mistake and hope to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Angela More

We stayed here for three nights and were a little disappointed, the venue is so very pretty and grounds lovely but you need a car to go or do anything which we did not. The room we stayed in was a very small dark room, the bathroom was tiny, the pool was in need of updating ie the filter system... More

We were able to book this Borgo very last minute (less than one week before check in) at a good rate (880 euro for 4 nights, for 2 adults and 2 children, breakfast and parking included). The Borgo is located a few kilometers from the small village Rosia, 30km from Sienna, 30km from San Gimingiano,... And is set in a... More

My husband and I stayed in the "La Romantica" room for 1 week during our honeymoon in Italy. I loved the grounds..... a beautiful Tuscan landscape and convenient for day trips to Florence, Sienna, etc. I still dream of dining in the restaurant.... the staff was so wonderful and the ambience was truly amazing. The best food we had in... More

Historical 14th century hamlet, rich of history, situated between Sienna and San Gimignano amid the gently rolling hills Siennese, one of the Most enchanting landscapes of Tuscany and culturally one of Italy's richest regions. The hamlet has recently been completely restored while retaining itsoriginal and characteristic features. The 16 homes, each architecturally different from each other, all with a beautiful... More

We have stayed in the mini village which at first seemed to be lovely, well maintained and calm. Well it was calm and there was no entertainment or imagination. The house we stayed in was overprized, dull, dark and not clean. I think all apartements were overprized. The area is nice but there are defintely better place in Tuscany towards... More

We've been staying at Borgo il Poggiaccio for the last five years. Its a perfect base for seeing Tuscany, a twenty minute drive to Siena, half an hour from San Gimignano and under an hour from Florence. We've stayed in several apartments, all of the same high standard. My wife and our young children love a relaxing day by the... More
