The village of Vejer de la frontera is a tiny, very romantic, picturesque town. I called the day before our arrival and said specifically that we were driving and got no real answer. I put the address in the GPS and sweated bullets driving the tiny streets. Pulling in our side mirrors and realized... You can not get there by... More

We stayed two nights at hotel V and it has been a great stay. The personell is very friendly and we had an overall great time. They told us a lot about the city and the hotel itself, they helped us with finding the hotel and they also gave us good advice as for where to eat out. So the... More

Me , my husband and 3 month old son were making a weekend trip to Vejer. Since our son is really small, we wanted to stay at a good hotel. Hotel V's photographs and pricing indicated that it was a good hotel. Well, here's the problem: - Its a 10 minute really steep and uphill walk from where you park... More

On arrival we were upgraded to the best room with a terrace and lovely view. That made up for the long walk with luggage from a car park at the bottom of the steps and hill. Be warned this hotel is at the top of the town that's on the top of a hill. Travel light! The blend of old... More

We spent 5 nights in Hotel V. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade to the suite with a private balcony. The location is perfect, right on top of the town with fabulous views on a clear day. All the staff were helpful especially Olivia, recommending restaurants and helping with travel arrangements. The hotel is exceptionally clean and is... More

If you want an understated, informal, cool, chic and different "home from home" concept, then you will enjoy Hotel V. Situated in the deafeningly quiet back streets of Verja de la Frontera (midway between Gibraltar and Cadiz) an historic picturesque hill town with narrow cobbled streets. No car parking so be ready for a short hike (not suitable for disabled)... More

We were very off season and the only people staying in this small hotel but we loved every bit of it. Wonderful, tastefully decorated rooms, helpful and friendly but unobtrusive staff and a restful atmosphere. The breakfast is simple but delicious and overall, we heartily recommend this gem of a hotel.

I can highly reccomend this small and personal hotel. All rooms are spacious, very nicely designed, have exclusive bed linen and furniture. Some have a bath tub as one of the centerpieces in the room. Great breakfast. Many opportunities for excursions in the area, including beaches, horse riding and walks.

We wanted to stay somewhere special for New Years Eve 2012 and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are stunning, modern and very clean. The hospitality of the woman running the hotel was warm and friendly. As they don't have a restaurant we were worried about where we would eat, but after emailing the hotel, they spoke to a restaurant they... More

We spend me and my family 2 nights in the Hotel V at the end of december. We asked for a suite. It's a very big room and, very well decorated. The salon is also a very quiet and really nice place. The personal is vert kind. Vejer de la frontera is a very special place and city.
