Lovely casa and lovely family in the little town of Baracoa, the casa is a minute walk to the main plaza, rooms are spacious, very clean and they have a wonderful view of the sea. The food is amazing, don’t miss breakfast or dinner, I highly recommend the octopus with tomato sauce!

Homestays (aka B&Bs or, in Cuba - casas particulares) are the thing in Cuba. Not just because they're cheaper than hotels, but because it gives us the chance to get some sense of what life is like for Cubans.
