this was very expensive for small portions of slightly above the ordinary food. We were all a bit taken aback by the rather unfriendly service. They were out of hebridean beer and offered becks and budweiser!. We would not return due to the curt service but others might consider the slightly above average food worth it.

The staff were excellent and the food, breakfast and dinner, were excellent. The rooms were nicely decorated with local art on the walls. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay here again. The previous reviewer was correct, the porridge was very yummy, but you have to try the locally smoked salmon.
