Just returned from the Alkyon hotel in Sidari Corfu. Rooms cleaned every day (except Sunday - which is standard for the region) Well appointed. Comfortable. Standard continental breakfast (fruit, cereal, eggs, cheese, cooked meat, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice and as much as you want. Dinner buffet style. Plenty of choice and a good standard. Great holiday, staff very helpful. Had a few laughs, 2 nights the power went when they put the air conditioning on, they rectified this quickly and apologetic. We walked and found shops. Restuarants nearby are clean and friendly

the rooms are full of mosquitoes, the food was average, but whenever we ate there was flies everywhere. drinks are ridiculously over priced, two euros for a can? the waiters were friendly which was a plus, but evening entertainment was repetitive with the same acts just doing different shows. there wasn't much choice in food and what was on offer... Arrived back just yesterday and have booked to return. Hotel is a perfect location just a five minute walk from the beach and the main strip. Staff at the hotel are wonderful so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, room was large with 3 bed, a large balcony, room cleaned and fresh towels left everyday. Food from the hotel... More
