We had lunch at Domaine de l'Hostreiere (family of four, with two children), after visiting the American Cemetery. The staff were rather unfriendly and uninterested, and the prices for lunch were too high for the quality offered.

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms made this an ideal base for exploring the beaches here. You are a one minute drive from the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha beach and plenty of parking makes this the ideal stop-over. Breakfast good, although does not begin until 8.30 which might take some working around for those with young children!
