“What a shame - pleasant hotel with poor food/restaurant”

Good rooms, pleasant gardens & setting, helpful staff & good service -HOWEVER the quality of the food was VERY poor (we had their full 85€ gastronomic menu) & rated it overall as 1 out of 5!! I have no idea how the Guide Rouge can possibly rate this as a Michelin Rosette restaurant unless the 'testers' were either bribed or... More

This hotel is in a wonderful location. I booked by Booking.com and after booking received an email from the hotel saying that I must check in by 10pm as the steel gates will be shut. No problem. But........ when we arrived at the hotel we were told that we had to be in the hotel by 9.30pm or be locked... More

My husband and I spent two very comfortable nights in one of the rooms in the converted stables. Free wifi in the main building. Delicious dinner poolside. Will stay here again!
